Staring anue…yet once again
In looking for an outlet to express myself I’m very excited to introduce to you nueveaux–a new and different way of thinking. I hope readers will find fresh ideas, inspiration, and further insights. This will primarily document and detail the new (nue!) journeys in my life–a wedding and reception this coming fall, my new found love of making a home a home, and culinary attempts (don’t take that word too lightly!) among other topics.
What is nueveaux?
Though I’ve taken 6+ years of French, I don’t remember a lick of it. I do however, know enough to tell you that nueveaux comes from the plural form of nouveau–which literally translates into “new.” So taking my name and conjugating the word I came up with nueveaux. I know, how original right? But just say it like how the French would say it… “nueveaux… nueveaux”…isn’t there just something to it? Something romantic and wonderful. I went with the plural form because this wasn’t going to be a linear blog–it’s three dimensional (whatever that means!).
